Even if you are RN licenes and educated in the USA. You still need a visa screen. I had to apply for visa screen. In my case it took only 1 week to get it. you can apply on line and send your documents. I'm not sure about the EAD though. YOu may wwant to post your question on the free Consultaion thread.

I totally agree with you. I have read the original message several times too and I am sure they mean June 2008. Our only hope is if they meant Mexico only, and not al EB categories.

They open up the gate for all July filer, then closed it and then re-open it again when many protested. So, when someone shared the news that USCIS is not going to accept the july filings, everyone mocked him but that came out to be true.

People started cursing logiclife when he posted about the FAQ4 to be released by friday and it didn't. But it did came after 2-3 days. So someone who shared that info with Core might have just said we are trying our best to come up with FAQ4 and will release it by Friday and core shared that info with everyone. But that doesn't mean that people should take that info as if it doesn't come on Friday, it will be the end of the world and core should loose his credibility. FAQ4 did came after couple of days and all those people who were cursing logiclife were no where to be seen.

You can't even vote. You can't even just change employers without hassle. You can't even just leave the country and come without proper documents. You can't even apply for a student loan. You can be deported any time you have a problem. You can't even renew your driver's license without showin proof of proper residency.
Even with GC your rights are still not as good as a US citizen.

They most of the approvals are of US Master degree and above as it is straight fwd EB2 no need to verify skill set etc..
While I can't speak for all cases out there, I can speak for myself and a few of my friends...Master's degree from US universities - CHECK, green card - NOT YET! (the wait continues).

I am sure most of you have assets worth of at least $150,000. So if 300,000 are stuck in the backlog. This would mean if these guys leave this country, then that would be $45 trillion loss for USA.

To add the circulating effect of $405billion in economy. For every dollar that is lend, it generates nearly $3-4 into GDP. That will mean nearly loss of $1.6trillion. This is close to 10% of GDP.

nothing will happen without extra GC numbers. we must fight for recapture and exemption. this move seems much too incredible to me. there are a few spillover numbers and a very large number of people waiting from 04-06. ther is no way these people are all (or even most) getting a GC in the short term.
we will end up seeing some random approvals and a lot of heartburn from many others. I truly wonder what is going on.....
