Can students with post completion EAD work for more than one employer at the same time in their own speciality area? I mean to ask, can they work full time with one and part time with other?

YOU CAN. You have two options
You can interfile, the current 485 can be changed to approved 140 (eb3)
or
You can port the approved 140 priority date to the current 140 (eb2).

Applied for LCA before H - 1 B renewal and got the error "FEIN ID NOT FOUND " error. I submitted additional documents still waiting for reply from DOL. Applied for LCA on august 5 , got the reply "FEIN not found" on august 13, faxed additional documents on same day still did not hear back from DOL.. Pls advice how long it will take now???????

I�m eb3 all other countries. My nationality is Canadian. Since a GC is not available shouldn�t the EAD I received be good for 2 years?

Hello
I am in AOS with priority date of EB2 Dec 2006. We are moving out of USA due to spouse getting a job outside of USA. If we want to retain our priority date and green card, what are we supposed to do before and after we leave USA?
In case we want to make temporary visits to the USA, do we have to apply for visitor visa? I am assuming that we will not have AP since we are not inside USA. Will we even get a visitor/business visa since we have an immigrant visa which is pending with USCIS?

The category (EB2/EB3) doesn't get transferred. Only the PD can be transferred. So, you will get the old PD for EB3.

The big news is that the masters cap was hit as of December 24th. I had been predicting since last summer that this 20,000 quota would be hit in the last week of the year and the pace of usage stayed extremely consistent. The general quota has 7,700 visas of 65,000 remaining as of December 31st and the rolling four week average is now running at just over 1500. Hi Folks
just got my GC. Now if I contract for a security clearance job, like Armed forces, or Defense related one through the same employer that sponsored by GC, CAN I BE ELIGIBLE for a waiver of the 5 years waiting period -to what extent is is waived ....100% or only part of the 5 years wait, if at all .
My Company is a US Defense Vendor .
Can someone pt me to the right place where all this is clarified.
Also would the same kind of waiver apply if you work for a Govt agency or it is strictly defense...
are there some other ways where GC-> Citz can be expedited

Well I stand corrected. Last night I reported that Rima Fakih was born in the US to immigrant parents. That's what the one biography I could find that listed her birth place actually said. But a day is a long time in the news cycle and we know a lot more about America's newest sweetheart. She was, in fact, born in Lebanon and immigrated as a child. The charming Rima is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn and is hoping to attend law school when her reign is over. Perhaps a career as an immigration lawyer?

Here is a question for one of my friend
He is a July 07 filer and has I 485 pending for more than 180 days, has EAD and AP.
All through the years he has been on H1. however there is a gap of 40 days between change of employer on H1. (The H1 is approved after this gap of 40days) Is he in the status during this gap of 40 days because he has pending 485 and has valid EAD/AP?

I am planning to joing new empoyer on EAD even though I have proper H1B. Because employer do not want to sponser for anything. My wife is planning to go to india during this period and she will be using H4 for travel. My questions are
1. Can I swith to new job even though my wife is not here and she is going to use H4 visa which she got it as aresult of my h1b visa from my privious employer.
2. What are the thing we need to do or check before joining the new employer.
Any help in this regard is highly appriciated.

Yes for extensions - Auto revalidation only from contiguous countries - Canada, Mexico and some islands.
There are several other requirements - take some effort and google it !

My wife will be coming back from India during first week of Dec thru IAD. She has some type of infection in few of her fingers with few blisters. I am worried her fingerprinting at POE may not work and may show an error. Has anyone encountered this issue ever? Do they capture all 10 fingers? Her infection is only in few fingers.
