I already have my 485 pending at NSC. My state comes under TSC jurisdiction.
Where should i file for my EAD, if I don't file concurrently with 485? at NSC where my 485 pending or at TSC?
What are the documents I need to file for EAD?

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco has released a report showing immigration helps boost overall wages for US workers and improves worker productivity. Is it possible to change employer when you are in the 7th year of H1B ?
Is it possible to have the new employer file PERM for you while you are with current employer?

I got really good news... EB3 moved for 1 week...... its 22nd Jan 2002 now...:rolleyes:
Based on the numbers released by USCIS on pending 485s, EB3 will go up to mid-june 2002 for the entire FY2011 (without spill over, of course)....

I am working for a small company on H1B since October 2006. The company had originally filed for full time employment (LCA and I-129) but at the time of hiring offered part time employment. I worked part time till June 2008 and since then I have been working full time. The company however never filed for an amended LCA and/or I-129. My H1B approval was extended last October by another 3 years. I also work part-time for a University on a concurrent H1B.
Will I be deemed out of status for this? What are the implications of this on filing for GC under EB1 or EB2? Is there any way in which this situation may be legally rectified?
Please advise.

Hi
I am currently working on H1B visa. I also had an EAD which expired 2 months back & I applied for renewal of the EAD last month. I am at the risk of being laid off by my current employer & they will withdraw my H1B if that happens. Here are my queries-
(1) If I lose my H1 status & my EAD approval is still pending, what do I need to do? If I am unable to find a new H1B sponsor, will I have to leave US immediately?
(2) Will my H1 cancellation have any effect on my EAD & AP renewal petition?
(3) Can I return to US & work after my AP & EAD are approved?
(4) If my EAD approval happens before my H1B visa is revoked, can I legally stay & work in US on the basis of ONLY the EAD?
Thanks in advance for your advice!

I joined and contributed already to the IV although I am not yet on the GC queue. I support you all with my heart.
I have a different concern about PERM filing. My application will be EB2 with Ms + 4 years as Senior Soft Eng, and my lawyer asked my manager to create the business necessity letter for MS degree. He is not experienced with this kind of paperwork and the lawyer seems to be just not helpful rather demanding... I was wondering if somebody in IV had to deal with this business necessity letter. Any information would be helpful...

Hi Everyone,
The A# that is listed on my I-485 receipt notice is different from the one listed on my approved I-140. In addition, the number listed on my I-485 receipt notice has only 8 digits instead of 9. From reading various forums, I've heard both sides of the story...some are saying that something like this needs to be corrected, and some others are saying that the A# is just a file number, and eventually gets consolidated.
I called USCIS customer service, but they weren't much help as they couldn't pull up the information in their system.
Any inputs? I'm planning on inquiring about this when I go for fingerprinting. Also curious to know if anyone's A# on their approved I-140 has nine digits, and if the one on the I-485 receipt notice only has 8 digits.

There is no such deadline. But it would do you good to file them before July 31st or other wise it might retrogress.
