My husband got into the country through the Mariel port
immigration from Cuba in 1980 hes been in this country since then. Im a
US citizen we are legally married. The problem was that 20 years ago
when he was about to get is residency he got incarcerated and the
process was can canceled by the immigration office. About 4 or 5 years
ago he lost all of his papers he has no ID or any document that proves
his legal status. Which I think is not going to be any help anyways
because he never got a Visa number he did got a an alien number but of course he doesnt remember it so basically he is in paper limbo, because you need an ID to get an ID. He recently got his Cuban passport but now we find out that is basically useless. I been trying to get someone to please explain to me in this case what can we do? It seems that because he is Cuban and enter the country as a refugee almost 30 years ago no one can tell me for sure what will be the procedure in his case.
Please if there anybody that can help I would really appreciated

I have a question about H1B transfer. I joined a company A on h1b in may 2005 and did an H1B transfer on july 2006 to company B. Now INS has sent an RFE (for company B financial). I have submitted all the relevant documents when I joined company B for H1B transfer so my credentials are crystal clear. Now when the comhpany B sends a response to INS and if H1B does not get approved. Would I be able to do an H1B transfer to any other company. I spoke to one company they are saying that since the RFE is on the company's credibility so they can do an transfer provided if we submit all the paystubs which we got from company B. I have been working for a client and have all the recent paystubs. Please advice.

1) Wrap up the backlog and introduce enough visas to make all categories EB2/EB3 current for everyone.
2) Eliminate this nonsense of H1 visa stamp. A person should be able to apply for visa while remaining in the US.

Conclustion: "This Court finds that the FBI owes no duty to an applicant to process his or her background check. Absent a duty to the applicant, neither the Mandamus Act nor the Administrative Procedures Act confer jurisdiction on this Court over the FBI. This evening, I watched a debate on television between a proponent and an opponent of comprehensive immigration reform (CIR). The proponent emphasized that we need CIR not for the benefit of the undocumented but because it would stimulate the American economy. Encouraging. Darryl Issa, the powerful new GOP House Oversight Committee Chair, has introduced this bill in the past, but with the change in party control, he's got a lot more clout this time around. My I-485 case has been transferred from Texas center to Nebraska and notice says it's for faster processing. My priority date is Nov 2003, EB3 category, indian national. I didn't expect they would be looking at my case now. Why would they transfer it? has anyone received any such notice?

My company got one previous LC approved whose requirements are BS in CS or Engg related. I have a civil engg degree, I would like to file I140 and get old PD. Will this substitution work? If anyone with "non CS" engg degree used a labor that asked degree in "CS or Engg rel" in item 14 on 750A please share your response.
